Regional Fire, Police and EMS Corps Team Up for First Annual “Boots Badges & Bandages” Competition!

WHO? – Miller-Keystone Blood Center in partnership with our regional Fire, Police and Ambulance Squads

WHAT? – Summer Blood Drive Competition

WHEN? – Memorial Day, May 26, 2014 through Labor Day, September 1, 2014

WHY? – The “Boots, Badges and Bandages” campaign is designed as a way for first responders to partner with our community blood service in an effort to bolster the blood supply during the summer months, a time when inventory levels traditional dwindle due to increased travel, family vacations and seasonal illnesses. The public is invited to support the friendly competition by donating in honor of their favorite hero.

WHERE? – Blood donations in honor of the “Boots, Badges and Bandages” campaign can be made at any fire, police or EMS scheduled blood drive event this summer. Family and friends can also donate on other MKBC community blood drives or MKBC donor centers and designate their donation towards the challenge.
