Every day, our community needs about 350 blood donations to help patients fighting cancer, recovering from accidents and burns, undergoing surgery or transplants, living with sickle cell, and even premature babies in need of critical care.
By donating blood with Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC), promoting your high school’s MKBC blood drives, or volunteering in the canteen at your school-sponsored drives, you may be eligible for community service hours while making a real difference! Check with your high school to see if they participate.
Each blood donation takes about an hour of your time – and with your high school’s approval, can count as one hour of community service.
Step up, save lives, and get recognized for your impact!
