MKBC’s Veterans Still Serving Program

What is a Challenge Coin?

Miller-Keystone Blood Center proudly supports our military servicemen and servicewomen. Through our Veterans Still Serving program, we want to offer you a token of our appreciation – all year long. Please contact us to learn more about the complimentary MKBC Challenge Coin which we would like to present to you when you visit us for your next blood donation!

In memory of Blood Donor Peter Noyes, whose knowledge brought the Challenge Coin history to our attention, inspiring our “Veterans Still Serving” program.

During the pandemic, not only did we collect and ship Convalescent Plasma to hospitals throughout the US… we also shipped Convalescent Plasma to military bases across the country to aid service members battling COVID-19.  Military servicemen and servicewomen have always been committed to saving lives through blood donation… and we need your help again – not only is our regional blood supply nearly depleted, but we are facing the most critical national blood shortage the US has ever faced.

Military Restrictions For Blood Donations Have Been Lifted!
The FDA recently updated their donor eligibility guidelines – regardless of where you were stationed or served in the military, you may now be eligible to donate blood!  Please contact us at 800-223-6667 (ext. 1118 or ext. 1271) or by email for more details or to determine your current eligibility.
