Blood donations typically decrease during the summer due to school breaks, increased travel
and family vacations, combined with accidents and seasonal illnesses. 
We’re calling all high school students to roll up their sleeve, donate blood, and earn cool rewards! 
Donate Blood at any MKBC Donor Center between July 1 – August 31, 2025, and use your high school’s group code to receive a limited-edition Bloodstravaganza button! You will also be automatically entered into our 2025 Bloodstravaganza drawing to win some awesome prizes, including:
Donate blood at any MKBC donor center and mention the high school you are donating for or provide the
high school’s MKBC Group ID# and you will be automatically entered to win.
Bring a friend who has never donated with MKBC before to donate with you, and you will both receive a $10 e-gift card.*
Donations at our fixed sites also count towards your High School Hero Cord program requirements.
Friends & Family Can Participate Too!!
Donate blood at any MKBC donor center, mention the high school’s MKBC Group ID# and
you will be automatically entered to win one of four $50 e-gift cards! Each donation made with
a high school group code will also count towards the school’s 2025-26 scholarship points!

PLEASE NOTE:
Students 17 years of age or older (or certain emancipated minors) may donate without consent of a parent or guardian;
Individuals must be 16 years of age or older to donate blood, and state law requires signed consent by a parent or guardian for 16-year-olds to donate. You can download the consent form here: 16-year-old Consent Form (8/21)
Please print both the front and back of the form and present both pages at the time of your donation.
